Our Daily Bread™ Meal Program

For many seniors, access to consistent, nutritious meals can be a daily challenge. The Friends Foundation created the Our Daily Bread™ program to meet that need—providing hot meals to homebound seniors across the Dripping Springs community.

Since launching in 2004, the program has grown from serving just two individuals to delivering meals to more than 30 seniors each week. Today, volunteers deliver meals every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, ensuring seniors receive not only nourishment, but also connection and care.

Meals are prepared by the professional kitchen staff at Avir in Dripping Springs and delivered at no cost to recipients. Donations help sustain the program and expand its reach.
