Grace Dormont

Grace Dormont brings compassion, organization, and a strong sense of community to her role on The Friends Foundation board. She joined at a time in her life when she was ready to give back, and what began as an invitation quickly turned into a meaningful commitment. Through her involvement, she developed a deep appreciation for the Foundation’s work and built lasting connections with fellow board members.
Grace is known for her willingness to step in and take on responsibility wherever needed. With a keen eye for detail, strong organizational skills, and a natural ability to connect with others, she plays an important role in supporting the Foundation’s programs and outreach efforts.
Her professional background includes more than 20 years in education, where she taught all levels of Special Education with a focus on emotionally disturbed students. After dedicating much of her career to working with children, Grace found serving the senior community to be both inspiring and a refreshing new chapter of service.
She is passionate about raising awareness of The Friends Foundation’s long-standing impact. For more than 30 years, the organization has quietly served seniors in the Dripping Springs community. As the area continues to grow, Grace hopes more residents will learn about the services available and help connect senior family members and neighbors to the support they need.
