Kathy Clark

Kathy Clark has been a dedicated volunteer with The Friends Foundation since 2009, initially serving during the summer months while she was still teaching. After retiring from education in 2011, she deepened her involvement and was elected Treasurer later that same year, a role she continues to serve with commitment and care.

With a heart for helping others and a strong appreciation for teamwork, Kathy is inspired by the dedication of fellow volunteers and the meaningful impact the organization has on the community. She values the opportunity to contribute alongside others who share a passion for service and finds great fulfillment in supporting programs that make a tangible difference in people’s lives.

Kathy is especially motivated by the direct impact The Friends Foundation has on local seniors. She understands how important it is to provide support for everyday needs that are often taken for granted, such as access to a hot meal or assistance during unexpected financial challenges. Helping seniors maintain comfort, independence, and dignity in their own homes is at the heart of her work.

For Kathy, the reward comes in seeing the gratitude of those served and knowing that her time and efforts contribute to a mission that truly matters.

If you want, I can also create a slightly shorter version or a “Meet the Board” social post to spotlight her long-standing involvement.
