Our Daily Bread™ Volunteer

A volunteer’s Code of Ethics and Standards of Conduct is a statement of the principles and expectations that guide ethical conduct of all who volunteer within The Friends Foundation. It requires all volunteers to use good judgment, to be accountable for their actions and to conduct themselves with integrity at all times. Volunteers should treat clients, fellow volunteers and vendors with respect, dignity, honesty and fairness.

The Friends Foundation’s Board Members want our clients and their families, businesses and individuals who support us, and the community at large to know what they can expect of us and how we conduct ourselves.

Volunteers and subs are often needed to deliver meals for Our Daily Bread™. If you are interested in volunteering as a meal delivery driver download a Volunteer application below. Complete the application in full and mail to the address at the top of the form or email to info@thefriendsfoundation.org. If you have questions please contact us at info@thefriendsfoundation.org or call (512) 592 1345. Drivers who volunteer must be at least 18 years of age, will need a vehicle in good operating condition, a valid Texas Driver’s License, proof of insurance coverage and must pass a background check.
